The historic president Barack Hussein Obama has taken yet another historic step by addressing Planned Parenthood at their annual gala. He was originally scheduled to give the keynote address, but moved his speech to the day after at the last minute – likely due to heat he was already taking over his refusal to give a coherent response to the Kermit Gosnell trial simply because it was “ongoing,” even though that did not stop him in providing commentary when Cambridge police rightly arrested his friend (the president accused the police of “acting stupidly”), and his sound-off on the killing of Trayvon Martin (the president said “If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon.”). In both of those cases, the president placed his foot squarely in his mouth, heightening racial tensions that were already too high.
So maybe we could give President Obama the benefit of the doubt on the Gosnell trial…and we might, perhaps, if not for the president’s own past positions on abortion. It is rather well-known by now – or, at the very least it should be – that when President Obama was a state senator in Illinois, he voted against a bill that would have required Illinois doctors to provide medical care to babies who survived botched abortions – meaning, in essence, that President Obama has no issue with the gruesome actions for which Kermit Gosnell is on trial. And make no mistake: while President Obama has repeatedly made excuses and equivocations about his voting record, he has never plainly come out against this form of infanticide
But while the president would not give a direct verbal response to questions about the Gosnell trial, he has chosen instead to give his response in another way – by addressing the Planned Parenthood event. Make no mistake – while the actions of most Planned Parenthood doctors may not be on the scale of the horrors committed by Gosnell, Planned Parenthood takes great pride in being “non-judgemental.” It wasn’t that long ago that a pro-life group operative went to several Planned Parenthood clinics, posing as someone seeking a sex-selective abortion – seeking to terminate her pregnancy because she had found out that the baby was female. In the spirit of non-judgementalism, the Planned Parenthood representatives went along with it…because according to Planned Parenthood, it doesn’t matter how morally abhorrent the reasoning is, it’s all about the “woman’s right to choose.”
But President Obama, along with the entirety of America’s political Left, didn’t seem to care about this one bit. Apparently, opposing women’s “right” to free, taxpayer-subsidized abortion and contraception constitutes more of a “war on women” than killing girl babies in the womb simply for being girls.
And this was the basic message of the president’s address to Planned Parenthood – the Right-Wing Republican bogeyman, clinging to their guns and their religion, are so vile, evil, and morally corrupt that they actually want to take away a woman’s right to sex-selective abortions!
I mean, how absolutely horrid is it that a major political party in 21st Century America actually doesn’t believe in snipping the spinal columns of babies after they’re born? How horridly judgmental!
President Obama, Planned Parenthood, and the rest of the pro-abortion Left love to use insinuations like “reproductive health” or “a woman’s right to choose” when speaking about abortion, but the truth must be that they just don’t care. “Safe, legal and rare” are little more than words with no meaning – of the three, the only one that is uttered with any sincerity is “legal.” They definitely don’t care to make abortion “rare,” or they would not push for it with such fervor…and as for “safe,” Planned Parenthood has been pushing for non-medical doctors to be allowed to perform abortions – because the procedure obviously is not dangerous enough as it is.
When President Obama comes out so strongly on the side of Planned Parenthood, it is important to remember just who it is that he is getting into bed with. After all, Planned Parenthood was founded by eugenicist Margaret Sanger, who believed in providing contraceptives and sterilization to those she believed were “undesirable.” The early eugenics movement in the United States started much the same way it did in Europe – the quest for the “master race.” We almost ended up being fortunate enough to evade the horrors of the concentration camps, and yet today Josef Mengele is no longer an abstraction from a bygone era – he is among us.
Kermit Gosnell may be the worst of the worst, but he may just be the tip of the iceberg. Planned Parenthood may provide some other ancillary services, but killing the unborn is both their largest service offering and their biggest moneymaker, and the American taxpayers enjoy the privilege of subsidizing it all, with no choice and no say, no matter how much they may disagree with the despicable practice.
When President Obama stood in front of that crowd and said “God bless you,” he was invoking the blessings of the Almighty on one of the greatest genocides in human history.
Abortion advocates go to great extremes to deny the humanity of unborn humans, perhaps because acknowledging the truth – that whether they call it a fetus, a “clump of cells,” or whatever other dehumanizing term they may choose, admitting that an unborn child is a human being brings a stark reality to the horrors that have been inflicted on the next generation that is almost unfathomable.
“If it only saves one child’s life,” the President says as he tries to take away the people’s right to defend themselves from the tyranny he is attempting to construct, “it will be worth it.” And yet, when it comes to ending countless children’s’ lives, that very same president says “Planned Parenthood is here to stay,” and invokes the blessings of Almighty God Himself on the slaughter of the next generation.
