It was less than a year ago that I wrote about how President Obama was officially turning the United States of America into a state sponsor of terrorism by supporting Al-Qaida affiliated rebels in Syria. We’re still supporting those rebel groups, but President Obama has recently upped the ante on his overt support for Middle-Eastern terrorists.
The Obama administration has been a friend to Israel in word, but always much less so in deed. His recent decision to support – and even to finance – the new so-called “Palestinian Unity Government” is by far his most egregious breach of America and Israel’s long-time alliance.
For those who may not know, the Unity in the Palestinian Unity Government is between Fatah and Hamas. Fatah used to be recognized by the U.S. government as a terrorist organization, but they have since renounced terrorism and morphed into more of a political organization. Hamas, on the other hand, has been gaining ground politically in Palestinian government, even taking a majority in the Palestinian Legislative Council in 2006, all while continuing in their pledge to violently wipe Israel off the map.
