Dr. Anthony Fauci has been outspoken about his stance on COVID since the very beginning. He has taken great pride in everything he did to stem the flow of information from people who weren’t with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Now, he has been called on it due to an investigation.

Spearheaded by Attorney Generals Jeff Landry (R-LA) and Eric Schmitt (R-MO), the lawsuit alleges the Biden administration colluded with social media officials to censor information about COVID. Much like the Epstein case, reporters were not allowed into the court, and transcripts aren’t being released.

Jenin Younes, litigation counsel at New Civil Liberties Alliance, spoke with the Daily Caller News Foundation about the case. Younes told them Fauci “conveniently denied recollection of most specifics- from emails to phone calls to individuals, including the Great Barrington Declaration and the scientists who wrote it, two of whom are our clients.”

Younes went on to explain “He was too busy running a six plus billion dollar a year institute and overseeing the development of vaccines that saved countless lives, to be concerned with the [G]reat Barrington [D]eclaration or social media. This is interesting given that there are emails he exchanged with Francis Collins in which they explicitly discussed ‘tak[ing] down’ the GBD and also dismissed it as ‘dangerous’ ‘nonsense.’”

The Great Barrington Declaration is an open letter published in October 2020 that opposed strict lockdowns and social isolation in response to COVID. It explained how kids and the poor were the most susceptible to the effects of lockdowns, especially as the rich and powerful were operating as if nothing had happened.

AG Landry tweeted about how much Fauci destroyed the economy with what he called science, but miraculously forgot all about that while on the stand. His lack of memory suddenly is atrocious and highly suspicious. If anything, they should be prosecuting him for lying on the stand and under oath.

Jeffrey Tucker, founder of the Brownstone Institute spoke with the DCNF, and he too was surprised that Fauci would claim he couldn’t remember anything. His self-defense at every turn wasn’t shocking at all.
Fauci is the longtime National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease director. As the chief medical advisor to the President, he was a major voice for how America would respond to the pandemic.

His words still carry ripple effects in many government organizations and hospitals.

In August, he announced that he would be stepping down from his position. This step down was a long time coming after his years of service but having COVID serving as his swan song was a major ending chapter.

AG Schmitt also tweeted about what he saw from Fauci. “Some takeaways from the deposition of Fauci: Fauci knew the Lab Leak theory had merit but it’d come back to him & sought to immediately discredit it; He defended lockdowns; The rest of us “don’t have the ability” to determine what’s best for ourselves.”

He also explained Fauci’s response to a simple sneeze. “In the Fauci depo this week the court reporter sneezed. Fauci wanted her to wear a mask This is the mentality in Nov 2022 of the guy who locked down our country & ruined countless lives & livelihoods. The Experts followed suit. Dissent was censored. In America. Never Again.”

This man destroyed the economy, destroyed countless marriages, and broke apart families with his “science” and ideas. If the governors across the US had stayed listening to him like good little lap dogs, we would likely be dealing with the same situation China has going on.

Thankfully people like FL Governor Ron DeSantis stepped up to the plate and told Fauci to leave it alone.
