James Comer Declares War on Deep State Cover-Ups
Praise the oversight gods because House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer is cracking down where it’s long overdue. He’s diving into over 400 Treasury Department money laundering reports tied to ActBlue, the Democrat fundraising behemoth. He is also gearing up to hold bureaucrats accountable for blocking investigations into the Biden family.
Comer declared in a no-nonsense interview that anyone who’s been running interference—be it the SEC, IRS, FBI, or DOJ— is about to feel the heat. And his message is crystal clear: obstruct justice, lose your job.
Comer’s team isn’t playing around. They’ve started funneling evidence to the incoming Justice Department team led by Attorney General-designate Pam Bondi, aiming to identify who should face the music for either criminal or administrative violations. I want to see accountability from the deep state, the people that were involved in the cover-up,” Comer said, expressing confidence that Bondi and the second Trump administration will help drag these players into the light.
Despite President Joe Biden’s pardon of Hunter Biden, Comer isn’t worried. He’s got a roadmap thanks to IRS whistleblowers who detailed exactly how tax and gun crimes were swept under the rug. Even Biden’s rumored blanket pardons for loyalists won’t shield deep-state operatives from their misdeeds. “I’ll be surprised if Joe Biden goes so far as to pardon all these people,” Comer quipped, predicting that those who protected the Bidens might get left in the dust.
And then there’s ActBlue. Comer revealed that his investigation into the Democrat fundraising platform has uncovered over 400 suspicious activity reports (SARs) flagged by banks. The platform, which has reportedly funneled over $2 billion to liberal causes, might also be a conduit for foreign adversaries—think Iran, Russia, Venezuela, and China—using illicit funds disguised as small donations through gift cards. And the shocker is that ActBlue only added basic security measures like CVV codes this September.
Comer isn’t buying the narrative of millions of small-dollar donations from grandma’s basement. “It’s a felony to accept foreign contributions,” he said, and the recent security upgrades suggest ActBlue might have known something wasn’t right all along. ActBlue has denied any wrongdoing and claims it’s all “disinformation.” Comer and his team are determined to follow the money trail. “We’re going to find out who knew what and when,” he vowed.
