Tim Walz In GOP Sights, He’s Not Going To Like What Happens Next

Rebekah Zemansky

Tim Walz thought the Minnesota fraud scandal would blow over.

He was wrong.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer delivered the news on Fox News Tuesday:

“The walls are caving in on Tim Walz.”

The investigation is widening. Whistleblowers are coming forward. State lawmakers and mayors are being drawn in.

And Walz’s attempt to wave off congressional oversight? Nobody’s buying it.

Walz Said He’d “Take Care of It” — Comer Isn’t Interested

The governor tried to brush off the House investigation:

“One of the things he said in the last 48 hours was that the Oversight Committee didn’t need to worry about this investigation, that he would take care of it.”

Comer’s response:

“No one in America believes that… We are going to investigate this.”

Walz has been governor throughout the entire fraud epidemic. Billions stolen under his watch. His assurances mean nothing.

Billions Stolen — Not Millions, Billions

The scale keeps growing.

The “Feeding Our Future” scandal alone involved $250 million stolen from federal food aid meant for children during COVID.

But that’s just one scheme. Federal prosecutors estimate total fraud across Minnesota programs since 2018 could reach $9 billion.

“This massive amount of fraud is affecting and impacting every citizen of Minnesota because they’re having to cut services because so much of the money for social programs was wasted and defrauded.”

Real programs are being cut because fake programs stole the money.

Comer Explained Why Democrats Protected the Fraud

Here’s the explosive part.

Comer laid out why Minnesota Democrats let the fraud continue:

“This Somali population has become a massive part of the Democrat base in Minnesota. It’s the whole key to the business model of success for the Democrat Party in Minnesota — and on the presidential scale to win the state of Minnesota and get those Electoral College votes.”

Democrats needed Somali votes. Investigating fraud in Somali communities risked those votes.

So they looked the other way.

Whistleblowers Warned — Democrats Ignored Them

Comer revealed that warnings came early:

“According to Comer, those appeals went nowhere because Democratic leaders feared the political consequences of taking action.”

People inside the system saw what was happening. They reported it.

Democratic leaders heard the warnings and did nothing — because acting would alienate a voting bloc they needed.

Political calculations trumped public protection.

Walz’s 2028 Ambitions Look Increasingly Delusional

Tim Walz is rumored to be considering a 2028 presidential run.

Think about that.

He just lost a vice presidential race where JD Vance “cleaned his clock without breaking a sweat.”

He’s presiding over what may be the largest welfare fraud scandal in American history.

Multiple federal investigations are expanding under his watch.

And he thinks he can run for president?

He’s Even Running for Governor Again in 2026

Walz announced he’s seeking reelection as governor.

That race will now be a referendum on billions in stolen taxpayer money.

Every debate will feature questions about fraud. Every ad will mention the scandals. Every voter will know that Tim Walz was in charge while billions disappeared.

Good luck with that campaign.

The DOJ Is Also Investigating

It’s not just Congress.

The Trump administration’s Department of Justice is continuing its own investigations and filing charges.

78 indictments so far. 57 convictions. More coming.

FBI Director Kash Patel called current results “just the tip of a very large iceberg.”

Walz faces scrutiny from the House, the DOJ, and the FBI simultaneously.

“The Walls Are Caving In”

Comer’s assessment is accurate.

Every week brings new revelations. Nick Shirley’s viral videos exposed daycare centers that billed millions while serving no children. Federal prosecutors keep expanding the scope.

State legislators are being drawn into the investigation. Mayors are being questioned. The circle keeps widening.

Walz is at the center. He was governor throughout. He’s responsible for state oversight that completely failed.

Minnesota Citizens Are Paying the Price

The fraud isn’t abstract.

“They’re having to cut services because so much of the money for social programs was wasted and defrauded.”

Real Minnesotans who need real help are getting less because criminals stole the funds.

Children who should have received meals didn’t get them.

Families who needed assistance went without.

The money went to fraudsters — some of whom reportedly sent it to terrorist organizations overseas.

Walz Once Joked About Trump Death Rumors

This is the character of the man at the center of the scandal.

When baseless rumors circulated around Labor Day about Trump’s death, Walz insinuated he wished they were true.

That’s who Democrats put on their presidential ticket. That’s who presided over billions in fraud. That’s who wants to run for president in 2028.

The Investigation Continues

Comer made clear the House isn’t backing off:

“We are going to investigate this.”

Whistleblowers are talking. Documents are being gathered. The scope keeps expanding.

Tim Walz wanted this to be a local Minnesota story. James Comer is making sure it’s a national scandal.

“The walls are caving in on Tim Walz.”

And 2026 is going to be very uncomfortable for a governor who let billions disappear while dreaming of higher office.
